You seem to have checked everything except the collective pitch. Post subject: Re: Belt CP won't lift off.need help Location: Santo Estêvão, East Algarve, Portugal. I thinking to replace the ESC next, this might be the problem, bcz it cut down the power as I was lower the throttle stick, of course, but it seem like loosing power in a sudden. I found it doing the same thing as the original Tx and Rx. The next thing, I have an extra Tx, I decided to replace them. I couldn't fine down what wrong with it, power up the heli, almost max out the throttle stick, but still could not lift off the ground, then i lower down the throttle, it seem like cut power of its own and seem like reverse, suck up the heli to the ground. Checked Aileron stick, move forward/ backward, ruddder trimmmer/ aileron trimmer everything look fine. My belt CP blades spin clockwise, everything else are working normally as I checked. Post subject: Belt CP won't lift off.need help Post subject: Re: heli wont lift off the ease helpĬheck if the gears are tight on the shaft, turn the gear & hold the blades.(not while its running of course) I just stomped a double horse 9053 that kept doing that and other things which kept it on the floor. The resilts can be life-threatening - I know - I did it and destroyed Wifes prize Christmas tree this last Christmas when my 450 took off unexpectedly and had a life of its own. īEWARE - DO NOT CHANGE REVERSE / SETTINGS etc. then switch OFF all and then reconnect motor leads. Once you've checked above and all is acting as it should. the pitch is controlled by 3 servos acting together. +ve pitch.īring throttle lever back down to idle and the blade should have a slight DOWN inclination showing it's negative pitch.Īs another said - the big difference with 6ch is that lift is a combination of rotor rpm and pitch which changes with throttle setting. The blade other side of heli should do same. the edge when looking at blade end which is left side should go UP. The blade should if it's a clockwise rotation. the rotor blade itself should tilt as the swash moves vertically. I don't know your heli so do not know if swash going UP increases rotor angle of attack or opposite. with motor disconnected - we can now play with TX without any dangers ! Turn rotor till one blade is pointing at YOU and you are looking long its length. 1 is NOT enough) and then set heli up on a high stool or bench so I can view straight at the swash / rotor head. Last edited by Trouble on Mon 1:34 pm edited 1 time in totalįirst I would disconnect motor power leads ( at least 2 of the 3. Or it's like Crash says, something in the radio setting is reversed. This is totally different then fixed pitch helis that always have positive lift, even at a low speed. They won't lift off till the blades have positive pitch.

Remember, collective pitch helis often will hit full throttle but will still have neg or zero blade pitch. The blades may start off with negative pitch, but should have zero pitch at mid stick, then positive pitch with the stick pushed all the way up.
Disconnect the motor, plug in the batt and move the throttle/ collective stick up. I don't have one of these heli's, but will try to help.įirst check that the swash plate is moving in the right direction. It sounds like something got reversed, If it is pushing down while spooling up thenthe swash is moving the wrong way.Ĭheck your radio settings and read the manual. i circle the right stick to make sure that eveything in the head is working and it is.but when i go to take off it doesnt have any actually pushes down on the heli. Well i know the blades arent backwards, but when i turn it on it and it connects to the reciever.
you have made a big leap from a 4ch to a 6ch, alot of things are different, so your input would help alot!! Like tell exactly the sequence you go thru to get it ready to fly, then what happens when you are trying to raise it. Hey, can you tell us what it IS doing? Does it start? Are you asking IF the blades are on right or are you saying that you know the blades are on right? there are alot of reasons it might not be "getting off the ground", help us out here with as much info as you can and the guys here can get you in the air!! blades are one the right way? any suggest would help!!!!! now i have an dynam e razor 250 6ch, and it will not get off the ground? no clue whats wrong. Ok.im new to the heli ayed around with the blade co axial 4ch. Post subject: heli wont lift off the ease help Electric Rc Helicopter Forum Index -> Electric RC Helicopters General Discussion
